Position Summary
One of our clients is seeking a Service Manager to join their growing team in North Bay Ontario. As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading a service team that provides field services and technical support to our customers throughout Northern Ontario.
The Company is an industry leading Mechanical Contractor who provides specialized equipment installation and maintenance services to customers located throughout Northern Ontario. With over fifty years of service, they are established as a leader in their field. In preparation for the retirement of the existing Service Manager, they are seeking an experienced and energetic team leader to build on previous successes.
Key Responsibilities
- Dynamic leadership of a strong team of customer service representatives and field service technicians.
- Coordinate and support customer service activities to meet established SLA targets
- Oversee estimating and invoicing for service team activities with P&L responsibilities
- Ensure service team is compliant with HSSE and technical training requirements
- Administer and oversee regulatory compliance requirements
- Provide direction and support to ensure resolution of ongoing service issues and new installation issues
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years experience in HVAC or equipment service management setting
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with networking and equipment connectivity
- Must hold a valid driver’s license. Some travel will be required for this position

- Excellent time management skills and customer relationship building skills
- Able to maintain a positive, motivational attitude in the face of day-to-day challenges
- Experience with electrical installations and troubleshooting. Able to assist with interpretation of equipment schematics and wiring diagrams to assist service and installation technicians as required
- PLC installation and programming would be a strong asset.
- Experience with quality management and continuous improvement systems
- Engineering experience would be an asset – ideally with several years of mechanical or electrical experience
