Job Title: Senior Account Manager for Canada Market 

Location: Virtual, live anywhere in Ontario (must be able to travel to Burlington for first 3 months a few days a week for training) 

Compensation: $90k-120k + $15k bonus

Benefits: RRSP matching (4%), Full Benefits, 3 weeks vacation, Car and gas allowance.

They are seeking a driven and dynamic Senior Account Manager to join their team and help propel the company to new heights in the Canada market.

Position Summary

As the Senior Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth, building customer relationships, and enhancing Landmark’s visibility and reputation. With a focus on the Canada market, you will identify growth opportunities, develop and implement sales strategies, and engage in upper-level sales meetings and presentations. Your expertise in account management and networking will be essential as you establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in Ontario municipalities.

Responsibilities

  • Set strategic direction for company growth, profitability, and development of competencies
  • Build customer relationships and guide internal relationships to improve our visibility, brand, and reputation
  • Identify growth opportunities and potential strategic partnerships
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for bid and negotiated work
  • Compose detailed and compelling proposals
  • Conduct upper-level sales meetings, presentations, and speaking engagements
  • Network with new municipalities and key stakeholders in Ontario on the capital/new construction side
  • Network and develop relationships with operators and personnel involved in maintenance
  • Meet with clients to discuss projects, account management work, and determine project requirements
  • Collaborate with civil engineers or heads of public works when working with municipalities

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university
  • Minimum of 10 years of similar experience of progressive responsibility in a technical sales role
  • Minimum of 7 years of similar experience in specification sales
  • Minimum of 7 years of engineering or construction experience
  • Advanced capabilities: presentation, publishing, analytic, database and content management applications
  • Experience in the water/wastewater, heavy steel construction, or industrial market segment
  • Experience working with longer term sales cycles (multiple years)
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus but not required

Working Environment

During the first 3 months, the selected candidate will be required to travel to Burlington a few times per week for training. After this initial period, the role will involve a mix of travel to customer sites in Ontario and remote work. Occasional travel to Eastern Canada for site visits may be required.
