Reports to: Associate Director – Customer Service

Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 with after hour bonus



Position Summary

Reporting to the Associate Director – Customer Service, the French Speaking Members Service Agent will be mainly responsible for providing fast, accurate, respectful, and courteous service to our clients based on a 10:30am to 6:30 pm shift or noon to 8pm.

  • Take calls from members, employers, health professionals, pharmacists, and hospitals with respect to health care, dental care, life insurance, disability insurance, and administration, and follow up as needed
  • Guide employers and members with the use of our tools and promote these tools during calls
  • Inform members about the status of their reimbursement requests, their coverage, the limitations of their plan, deductibles, out-of-pocket expenses, co-payments, etc.
  • Answer requests and questions sent by email
  • Process any stop payment requests
  • Direct to the appropriate sector any requests for correction, non-compliance situations or files containing errors
  • Maintain a satisfactory level of knowledge to provide accurate and quality service
  • Recognize and seize opportunities to suggest ideas or initiatives aimed at improving our services
  • Optimize his/her time and support private management with various tasks
  • Perform any other related tasks as requested by the department head



  • College Diploma
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a call center (asset)
  • Customer service experience (major asset)
  • Experience with Group Benefits (asset)
  • Excellent command of English and French, written and spoken
  • Versatility, resourcefulness and ability to work independently
  • Ability to protect confidential information
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
