Their Group Retirement Solutions (GRS) practice continues to be a high growth area and they are looking for a Retirement Practice Lead to join the team. The role will report to the Director of Consulting Services.
This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to play a key role in enhancing the structure and processes within the GRS area. The role is responsible for coordinating and supporting the delivery of group retirement services, to implement and maintain service standards, processes, and best practices.
The ideal candidate is highly self-sufficient and brings extensive experience in retirement and operations.
The company is headquartered in Collingwood with satellite offices located throughout Ontario, to collaborate with other team members.

Key Responsibilities:
Practice Coordination & Support
- Coordinate with the Director of Consulting Services to implement strategic initiatives and service improvements
- Develop and document core service philosophies and methodologies for team adoption
- Create and maintain process documentation and operational guidelines
- Support the standardization of service delivery across the retirement practice
- Assist in monitoring service quality and team performance metrics
Operational Excellence
- Design and implement efficient workflows for retirement plan administration
- Create and maintain templates for common processes and client communications
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery
- Track and report on service metrics and identify areas for improvement
- Support the development and maintenance of best practices documentation
Process Development
- Draft and maintain standard operating procedures for retirement services
- Create training materials and resources for team members
- Document and streamline implementation processes
- Assist in developing quality control procedures
- Support the creation of service delivery standards
Team Support & Training
- Assist in developing training programs for team members
- Help coordinate team activities and workload distribution
- Support knowledge sharing and best practices across the team
- Contribute to team meetings and professional development initiatives
- Help identify training needs and opportunities
Compliance & Documentation
- Support the maintenance of CAP Guidelines No. 3 reporting processes
- Assist in creating and updating compliance documentation
- Help prepare legislative updates and compliance newsletters
- Maintain records of regulatory requirements and internal procedures
- Support the Director in monitoring regulatory changes
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of experience in group retirement services
- Strong understanding of Canadian pension legislation and CAP Guidelines
- Excellent organizational and process development skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with retirement plan administration and implementation
- Experience with large recurring projects
Preferred
- LLQP designation or willingness to obtain within first 6 months of employment
- Experience with multiple carrier platforms
- Background in process improvement or project coordination
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and training development
