Are you a self motivated, results-driven individual with a passion for sales combined with knowledge in the construction/concrete industry? 

If so, Lock-Block has an exciting opportunity to join as an Outside Sale Representative and be a key player in driving business growth. The role reports to the Owner.

For over a decade, Lock-Block has been the leading producer in precast retaining wall systems. They service heavy construction, contractors and residential markets across Ontario from their three locations. They have doubled their sales since 2022 and the demand for their product continues to grow! 

The ideal candidate is self efficient and able to work independently and has the ability to travel and meet potential customers in and around the GTA area.

Competitive Compensation: Base salary starting around $60,000 and commission on all new business. Uncapped earning potential!

Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with the owner to understand the business model and product and set sales targets. 
  • Engage in business development activities to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with potential customers to understand their needs/problems and provide suitable solutions.
  • Conduct social activities to reach out to prospects and promote the product.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service before and after the sale to ensure customer satisfaction.


Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Construction materials background, minimum of 3 – 5 years experience.
  • Product knowledge in precast or concrete experience is an asset.
  • Previous experience overseeing a retaining wall build is an asset.
  • Passion for sales and knack for building relationships.
  • Creative and ability to think outside the box to grow new business. 
  • Self motivated, self starter and confident.
  • Proficient in English and strong interpersonal skills. 
  • Trustworthy and team player. 
  • Full driver’s license/clean record.  
  • Able to successfully work from home and travel within the GTA.
