Leasing Associate

Glen CORR Management Inc. is seeking a Leasing Associate to join their growing team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across both commercial leasing and condominium management within a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

Reporting to the Vice President, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting leasing initiatives across a diverse portfolio while contributing to the effective governance and administration of condominium corporations.

Glen CORR is a respected property management firm overseeing 200+ million square feet of commercial and industrial space across Southwestern Ontario on behalf of owners and investors.

  • Compensation: $50,000 – $70,000 (commensurate with experience and CMRAO licensing)

Key Responsibilities

  • Leasing & Negotiations – Support the VP in lease negotiations, renewals, and tenant expansions while ensuring alignment with ownership goals.
  • Market Research & Analysis – Monitor market trends, rental rates, and competitor activity to provide insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Tenant Engagement & Customer Service – Serve as a key point of contact for prospective and existing tenants, fostering positive relationships.  Respond to enquiries from prospective tenants via phone, email and in-person.  Assist in conducting basic tenant screenings including credit checks and reference verifications.
  • Marketing & Outreach – Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies to attract high-quality tenants.  Assist in showing properties to potential tenants and conducting property tours.
  • Administration & Lease Documentation – Prepare lease proposals, letters of intent, and other required documentation with accuracy and efficiency.  Maintain accurate property records and databases.  Help with general administrative tasks related to leasing and property management.
  • Strategic Input – Identify opportunities to improve leasing strategies and provide feedback to the VP on market conditions, tenant needs, and potential deal structures.
  • Condominium Management Support (CMRAO Regulated) – Licensed candidate, will support the management of condominium corporations in compliance with the Condominium Act, 1998 and CMRAO regulations, assist with coordination of board meetings, annual general meetings, and owner communications. Prepare and distribute meeting materials, notices, and correspondence. Support enforcement of condominium declarations, by-laws, and rules. Assist with tracking contracts, insurance certificates, and compliance items. Respond to owner inquiries related to condominium operations in a professional and timely manner.

What You Bring

  • Solid understanding of commercial leasing principles and deal structures
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of condominium governance and operations
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with tenants, brokers, and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with sound judgment
  • A self-starter with the ability to develop processes and work independently

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial leasing, real estate, or property management
  • CMRAO General Licence (considered an asset)
  • Real estate license (preferred but not required)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Yardi (preferred)
  • Post-secondary education (preferred)
