What They Offer
Compensation: $50,000-$90,000, depending on experience.
Work Arrangement: This position is primarily based in-office in Simcoe, ON, with project inspection responsibilities throughout the Oxford County, Haldimand County, Brant County and Norfolk County regions. Some hybrid flexibility may be available for senior-level candidates, depending on experience and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare engineering designs and technical drawings for:
- Sewer and watermain systems
- Stormwater management systems
- Roadway and municipal infrastructure projects
- Site servicing and grading plans
- Develop plan and profile drawings, detailed sections, and base plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Support land development projects including site plans and subdivisions
- Conduct fieldwork including:
- Topographic surveys
- Site visits
- Construction inspections
- Interpret and apply municipal design standards, guidelines, and engineering specifications
- Collaborate with engineers, technologists, technicians, clients, and municipal stakeholders
- Assist with project coordination and maintain strong client relationships
- Work independently and within a multidisciplinary team environment
Qualifications & Experience
- Education in Civil Engineering Science or Technology, or equivalent industry experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience designing and drafting:
- Grading and servicing plans
- Plan and profile drawings
- Stormwater management plans
- Section and detailed drawings
- Base plans
- Understanding of Site Plan and Subdivision development processes, as well as municipal client-based projects
- Experience with fieldwork, including detailed topographic site surveys and construction field inspections
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Strong client relationship and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply engineering design standards and guidelines
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Valid Ontario driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle
