What You’ll Do

  • Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic guidance on Canadian Group Benefits and Retirement programs
  • Proactively manage a portfolio of clients across varying group sizes and funding structures, identifying opportunities for plan optimization, cost control, and enhanced member value
  • Lead client meetings confidently, including quarterly reviews and annual planning sessions, delivering meaningful insights and actionable recommendations
  • Analyze claims data and plan performance to develop customized, forward-thinking solutions aligned with client objectives
  • Introduce innovative ideas and recommendations to improve plan design, employee engagement, and overall program effectiveness
  • Oversee and guide the renewal and marketing process, ensuring clients remain competitively positioned within the market
  • Provide market insights and industry trends to support strategic decision-making
  • Support and lead plan implementations, ensuring smooth transitions for prospective clients
  • Develop and deliver engaging client-facing materials, including employee presentations and plan summaries
  • Collaborate with internal teams to execute client strategies while maintaining accountability for overall client outcomes
  • Ensure client deliverables are accurate, insightful, and aligned with strategic recommendations
  • Maintain high standards of documentation, compliance, and data integrity across client files and systems
  • Continuously build industry knowledge and apply market insights to enhance client recommendations
  • Deliver exceptional value in every client interaction
  • Contribute to special projects and broader team initiatives as required

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in Benefits Consulting or Benefits Advisory roles
  • Active LLQP licence
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills with confidence in client-facing environments
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a collaborative approach
  • Comfortable working across multiple systems and adapting to evolving technologies and processes
